St. Patrick's Day Parade info from Mr. Lammly: PARADE INFORMATION Thank you to the large number of students who will be participating in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 21st! I have just received information from the parade organizers regarding the start time: The parade will begin at 1pm. Greenville HS Band students must arrive at the HS Band Room by 11:30am. Attire for the parade: clean black dress slacks (no jeans/leggings), comfortable sneakers, and a school-provided sweatshirt. Sweatshirts will be handed out in the band room on the morning of the parade. It is my hope to make this experience more inclusive to our younger instrumental students as well. I am happy to say that a couple of elementary and middle school students will be marching with us carrying our banner and flags!

Join the GCS Water Challenge starting this Monday and taking place until March 31. Interact will be sponsoring this MS and HS event to bring attention to International World Water Day, March 22. All you need to do to participate is to bring a refillable water bottle to school each day and use the 5 refill stations- we will be tracking the meters through the month with the goal of reaching 20,000 by March 31! GCS HS and MS student check your email for links to more information, posters and resources; listen to announcements for World Water Day activities through the month and check out the showcase by the senior bench for more information throughout the month! Join this global initiative to take action and be mindful about water use, reduce your carbon footprint and become aware of the many issues related to global warming during March!
